Every places contain memory; but only a few are lucky enough to be retained and remembered. Many are demolished and slowly be forgotten. The thesis and methodological project focus on the making process of images that contain memory of Sui Fai Factory Estate locates in Hong Kong. The light industrial factory is facing demolishment in 2022. The demolishment of factory also means the disappearance of people and manufacturing machines. To reunite with the factory, my printing machine creates images that tributes to the memory of Sui Fai factory, because it is one to remember so that we won’t forget.
